Trendsetting Gold Brand kim-a: Makes a Bold Debut!
A Premium Collectible Defined by Top Designers and Unique Craftsmanship
The trendsetting gold brand kim‑a: (pronounced “Kim‑a,” from the Taiwanese term for “gold”) made its grand debut on the evening of October 25 at Taipei’s Staff Only Club. The brand is spearheaded by designer Joe Fang and his studio, with visuals captured by photography master Liang Su, and craftsmanship overseen by metal‑art artisans Liu Rong‑chao and Tsai Yung‑sheng. The event was ignited by an electrifying opening performance from Taiwanese rapper Trout Fresh.
Terry Tu, brand manager, introduced kim-a:’s partnership with NeruLink, the first brand to integrate NFC technology into precious metal collectibles. This innovation protects collectors’ rights and greatly enhances artistic value, drawing significant attention from Taiwan’s design, street art, and precious metal communities.

At the launch event, kim-a: showcased its “A_” and “B_” gold block series, along with a preview of the upcoming “T_” gold jewelry series. Also on display were Liu Rong-Zhao’s intricate sculptures “A Small Desire” and “Autumn.” The former featured golden ants each engraved with over 2,400 strands of fine detail, stunning the audience. Yuesheng International sponsored the event with tastings of HINE Cognac, the only cognac brand endorsed by the British royal family.
